“My style of mosaic art is ‘pique assiette’ which means I use broken china, glass and recycled objects and collectibles such as old jewellery to create unique one of a kind mirrors, frames and freestanding artworks. Each piece tells a story – I often use memories from our travels around the world recreating the colours and textures and are of a whimsical nature.I enjoy searching for unique collectibles and spend many hours in my studio surrounded by nature as I work. It’s almost a kind of meditation for me.”
