I’m thrilled to be Feature Artist for July and August 2026 at Nimbin Artists Gallery, northern NSW.

Linda Frylink Anderson’s work is an immediate response to what she sees.

Experimenting with mark-making – scribbling and playing with line, colour and texture Linda is guided by the incidental surprises that emerge when working intuitively.  Her unbound creative approach allows her to work freely wherever she may happen to be. The world is her studio and inspiration can be found anywhere.

She paints and draws with acrylic, ink, and watercolour. This body of work created on  Bundjalung country features views of Wollumbin & surrounding bushland from her home, life drawings and a pique assiette mosaic piece titled ‘Forest Treasures’. This piece is created with broken china, stained glass, mirror, jewellery and whimsical collectibles.

Linda has published 2 books telling stories and making drawings of her voyage around the world by sailing boat with her captain. Both are filled with colour which is Linda’s style.

A short stint at the Canberra School of Art many years ago was followed by travel, motherhood and teaching before finally devoting herself to her art practice in Northern NSW. Linda has exhibited in Queensland, overseas and in recent years in community and Regional galleries in northern NSW
