Sketches Gili Air, Lombok
A holiday with my grandson included an island with no cars, just horse and carts and bicycles. We stayed in 2 little bungalows side by side a few steps from the beach. I enjoyed the company of 2 ginger cats, one is featured in one of these sketches with pen and watercolour.

Life Drawings on display
I’ve enjoyed Life Drawing since I was 18 and run regular sessions in my studio. With so many life drawings lying around, I was trying to think of a way to display them. I decided to buy wooden clip skirt/pants hangers and plastic sleeves for my drawings. It kind of works except the bigger drawings…

The Nimbin Spring Art Fair

Small Iluka Mermaid painting sold
This small painting was part of the Clarence Impressions Exhibition recently and has now sold. This little mermaid painting has a mosaic tail just like the real one that sits at the end of the boat harbour.

Scribbles from Bali
I’ve just returned from Bali and Lombok and was so relaxed I didn’t complete much artwork. Here’s a few scribbles from Sidemen, up in the hills and still has a feel of the ‘old Bali’. Our villa did have a view of Mt Agung behind the rice fields but it was covered in cloud. So…
